Two Suspects Arrested With A Home-made Gun In Thika

Two suspects have been arrested by Makongeni police officers who recovered a home-made gun to be used as an exhibit.
The suspects are said to have been using the gun to terrorize area residents and are set to be processed before they are arraigned in court.
“Detectives based at Makongeni Police Station Thika have arrested two suspects and recovered a home-made gun used to terrorise residents in Makongeni estate and its environs. The two were positively by the victims will be charged for the offence robbery with violence.” Said Thika Town Today.
Still in Thika, police have confiscated a motorcycle that is used by a gang to steal mobile phones and hand bags at Kenyatta Highway.
“Police in Thika have arrested one suspect and impounded a motorcycle believed to be used in snatching people’s phones and purses along Kenyatta Highway between stadium roundabout and U-Shop.
The arrest follows public outcry over escalating cases of motorbike thuggery in several places within Thika. The suspect will be arraigned in court tomorrow. The police warned that they won’t relent until this vice was eliminated in the area.” Said Thika Town Today.
